Quiksilver is ending celebrity skater, MTV personality and entrepreneur Rob Dyrdek’s current endorsement contract with DC Shoes as part of the bankruptcy process, SES has confirmed.
Quiksilver officially rejected the contract late last week, according to court documents.
Dyrdek was one of DC’s most high profile mainstream athletes. He has three million Instagram followers.
Skater Nyjah Huston has also left the brand, however, that happened before the restructuring process.
DC plans to announce a few new team riders, according to executives, and so far has added James Stewart.
DC remains an important part of Quiksilver’s future plans, we are told.
We were unable to reach Rob for comment.
