Layoffs reach Hurley as Nike cuts jobs globally

Some jobs at Hurley International have been eliminated as part of Nike's global restructuring, Nike spokeswoman Kellie Leonard told Shop-eat-surf today.

Kellie declined to provide the number of jobs that were cut, but described the reduction at Hurley as "minimal."

Nike recently reviewed its entire global structure and cut 5 percent of its workforce, or approximately 1,750 employees, out of 35,000.
