As a longtime North County business and active community partner, Surf Ride Boardshop, established in 1974, has extended its services by now offering premier Surf Camps, Surf Lessons, and Surf Excursions.
“With one of the lowest instructor to camper ratios, at 1 instructor to 5 campers, we are ensuring safety, fun, and motivation! No other camp can provide the variety and experiences better than Surf Ride Summer Camps,” said Curtis Marker, Surf Camp Co-Director and Instructor.
Surf Ride Surf School offers unique all-inclusive Surf Camps, Surf Lessons and Surf Excursions in North County. Surf Ride Surf Camps offer the most exciting weekly summer camps for ages 7 and up, which includes a day at Wild Rivers Water Park, surfing, jet skiing, stand-up paddling, beach games, and educational lessons. Private/Semi Private/Group surf lessons are available for anyone wanting to learn how to surf. Surf excursions are the premier way to experience the Southern California surf culture, by visiting the best surf spots and local hangouts. All of our instructors are CPR/First Aid certified and have years of experience. For tourists who don’t know their way around, we offer transportation for lessons and excursions.
In April, Surf Ride Boardshop unveiled the new website surfschool.surfride.com with the goal of making it easy for to have all the latest surf camp, surf lesson, and surf excursion information available, as well as online registration.
“We not only teach surfing performance, but we want our campers to experience the ocean and waterman lifestyle, develop self-confidence, and make new friends,” said John Daniels, Surf Instructor and Professional Surfer.
