The La Jolla Group has hired a former Quiksilver and DC Shoes senior executive to oversee design and merchandising for all of its brands – O’Neill Clothing, Lost Clothing, Metal Mulisha, Rusty North America, True Love & False Idols and In God’s Hands.
Vicki Redding will take on the new role of SVP of Design and Merchandising. She will report to La Jolla CEO Toby Bost and President Bill Bussiere.
Bill, formerly the chief financial officer of Quiksilver Americas, and Vicki worked together for many years at Quiksilver, where Redding spent 17 years in various executive roles.
She then worked at DC Shoes for two years as SVP of Global Merchandise and Design. Most recently, she had a short stay at moto company One Industries.

In the newly created role of Senior Vice President of Design and Merchandising, Redding will guide La Jolla Group’s long-term strategic development of its cross-brand Shared Services division and interaction with each of LJG’s six design teams, including O’Neill Clothing USA, …Lost Clothing, Metal Mulisha Clothing, Rusty North America, True Love & False Idols and
In God’s Hands.
The new role will also streamline communication and allow all Design and Merchandising departments to report into one senior-level executive.
Redding comes to La Jolla Group with 25 years of experience in the youth lifestyle apparel industry, including seventeen years at Quiksilver in various senior and executive roles.
Following her tenure at Quiksilver, she spent two years at DC Shoes as Senior Vice President of Global Merchandise and Design; and most recently, held a Vice President of Apparel, Merchandise, Design and Sourcing position at One Industries.
Through these various roles, Redding has gained valuable sportswear merchandising and retailing experience, including brand conception, design, sourcing and production for both national and international markets.
