Stance hosted an intimate Fall and Holiday ’13 Preview Tuesday at Smog Shoppe in Los Angeles bringing together Stance “Punks & Poets” and LA influencers
Professional skateboarder Chad Muska pleased the Stance crowd by spinning upstairs, as guests below enjoyed a first-look at the Fall and Holiday 2013 collections for both men’s and women’s lines. Highlight of the event was a surprise performance by a contortionist, donned in what else, but Stance socks.
Guests previewed the Fall and Holiday collections, including a limited edition sock which benefits Keep A Breast, a 501 C 3 non-profit dedicated to spreading Breast Cancer awareness through art, education and action. This pair was nicely displayed and surrounded colorful breast cast art sculptures
People at the party included Turkey Stopnik (pro surfer), Kassia Meador (pro surfer), Chase Stopnik (pro surfer), Troy Elmore (pro surfer), Daniel Lutheran (pro skater), Mark Oblow (professional photographer) and many more all came out to support Stance.
In addition, LA influencers (and long time fans of the brand) such as Kathryn Romney, FOAM Magazine Executive Editor, and LA fashion blogger Natalie Suarez of Natalie Off Duty turned out.
Action sports industry heavy hitters were also in attendance including Ryan Kingman (VP of Marekting at Stance), Shaney Jo (Keep A Breast founder), Candy Harris (Stance women’s creative director) and Mitch Abshere (Surfer & Founder of Captains Helm/Captain Fin Co).
