Rip Curl hosted a party at its USA headquarters in Costa Mesa last night to welcome company founders Brian Singer, Doug “Claw” Warbrick and Francois Payot, who were visiting the region.
Contrary to erroneous reports out of Australia, the founders still sit on the board of directors of the company, and there has been no substantial change to the ownership structure of Rip Curl.
Also on hand were most of the company’s regional CEOs, Rip Curl USA employees, a few retailers, media representatives, and industry folks.
