This year at AGENDA Long Beach, lifestyle brand RVCA hosted a kickoff reception at Pow! Wow! on Wednesday, July 8th from 6-10PM. Following the bi-annual trade show, the brand celebrated the release of the newest issue of ANP Quarterly (https://www.rvca.com/b/anp-quarterly). The issue leads with an exclusive cover story/interview with Gibby Haynes (Butthole Surfers), as well as features on other visual artists such as Jim Drain, Dorothy Iannone, Matt Connors, Letizia Battaglia, and more!
Curated by Greg Escalante, the event was attended by RVCA Founder/Creative Director Pat Tenore, Film Director/Art Curator Aaron Rose, American comic book writer/artist Alex Ross, famously known for Marvel Comics, Founder of DC Shoes Damon Way, MADSTEEZ, known for his art collabs with Nike, Target, Boost Mobile, Red Bull and more, artists Saber, Cali Thornhill-Dewitt and Jeff McMillan, who’s worked closely with Nike, Microsoft, Disney, Mountain Dew, Justin Timberlake, and more!
