Leaders of two brands in the Columbia Sportswear Company portfolio are departing the organization, according to statements made on Columbia’s earnings conference call Monday.
Prana President Russ Hopcus is retiring this fall. Russ has worked at Columbia and Prana for eight years, executives said, and a search for his replacement is underway.
In addition, Mountain Hardwear President Joe Vernachio, who had led the brand for four years, left to become COO of Allbirds. A search is also underway for his successor.
Columbia Sportswear has four brands in its portfolio – Columbia, Sorel, Prana and Mountain Hardwear.
