VF Corp. Appoints Abhishek Dalmia Chief Operating Officer

Dalmia has served as VF's executive vice president and chief strategy, transformation, and digital officer since March 2024.

VF Corp. appointed Abhishek Dalmia to the role of executive vice president and chief operating officer and principal operating officer effective April 3, according to documents filed with the SEC.

Dalmia, who joined VF in March 2024 as its executive vice president and chief strategy, transformation and digital officer, will oversee the company’s corporate strategy, transformation, digital technology, and supply chain operations.

VF Corp. is in the midst of a transformation aimed at returning the company to growth by cutting costs, paying off debt, restructuring its global operations, and setting ambitious targets at its brands, which include The North Face, Vans, Timberland, Dickies, and Altra Running. There are signs that those efforts are beginning to work. In its latest quarterly report, overall revenue increased by 2.1% to $2.8 billion compared to the same quarter last year. Revenue declined from $7.6 billion to $7.3 billion over the first three quarters of the fiscal year.

Before joining VF, Dalmia, 47, was managing director and partner at Boston Consulting Group, working with apparel and footwear clients on ecommerce, brand management, marketing, consumer analytics, artificial intelligence, and technology. Before that, he was senior vice president, digital, at Lululemon. Before that, he has served in various roles at Dell, General Electric Company, and Citibank.

Dalmia will receive an annual salary of $800,000 with a target annual bonus opportunity of 110% of his salary for fiscal 2026. His compensation also includes an annual long-term incentive opportunity of $3 million for fiscal 2026 which is expected to be made in May 2025.
