Malvados Enters Footwear Scene with Spring 2017 Collection

The line will debut at Swim Collective in Huntington Beach and at tradeshows throughout North America this summer.

Malvados Lifestyle Inc. is pleased to announce its entry into the global footwear scene with the launch of its Spring 2017 Collection.  A fashion forward casual footwear line, Malvados draws inspiration from iconic women in music, rock and roll, edgy festival fashion and the wild at heart.

The footwear line will debut at Swim Collective in Huntington Beach and at regional tradeshows throughout North America this summer.

“We are thrilled to launch this authentic, beautiful new brand and share the Malvados story.  Our mission is to design the most comfortable yet fashion forward casual footwear for the girl who loves to wander, seeks adventure and is always plugged in. We are offering something new, something different  – this is the footwear you take with you everywhere,” said Jennifer Rainnie, Brand Queen Malvados. 

The Spring 2017 Collection features three categories: The Lux, Icon, and Playa each plugged into a different tune but designed for fun, leisure and lifestyle. The collection is comprised of 38 styles. Each category will include a must have palette of beautiful metallic hues with a few bright accents thrown into the mix and will range in price from $21 – $32 USD retail.

A Vancouver based company founded in 2016 by Jennifer Rainnie and Baseer Khudayar. Malvados is a lifestyle footwear brand designed for the girl who loves music, travel and fashion.

Brand Creator

Malvados was created by Jennfer Rainnie inspired by her love of music, adventure, travel and fashion based in Vancouver, BC.  During her high school summers she lived in a van and travelled the shorelines in search of surf and wind. In University she traded her meal cards to pay for concert tickets and weekend getaways.  As soon as she could she moved to Hawaii to live in a house full of surfers in Paia so she could charge the Northshore waves every day. When she returned to Canada she pursued a successful career in the action sports fashion industry. Always a wine glass half full kinda girl, she named her brand “Malvados” because translated in Spanish it means “wicked” and that was her favorite word in her 20’s. 

Co-Founder

Baseer Khudayar is Jennifer’s Yang to her Ying, in some aspects of life he is the complete opposite, a working boy from elementary to today.  Baseer skipped out on the parties to get some hours into work and get the job done.  College dropout (again due to work) but very grateful for the opportunity.  Today he is somewhat of an operational guru but severely lacks in the fashion world, his idea of a good image is a faded old hoody with blue jeans folded up above his ankles. Never too tired to work but always too tired to go out.
